Title: Bug in 2.1.2?
Post by: jz87 on July 26, 2012, 03:44:52 AM
I recently upgraded to 2.1.2 and encountered this problem I haven't seen before.
I add a label and a spliced sprite to a panel, they overlap each other. The background of the sliced sprite is fully opaque.
The label is completely covered by the sprite, I can't see it at all. I tried adjusting the depth to no avail.

I find that if I tilt the camera a little the text appears.

I'm stumped trying to figure out what the problem is.

Is this in the game view or scene view? I have disappearing text all the time in the scene view and when I move the camera it reappears. It always appears correctly in the game view (assuming the correct depth/z position is set)

This is in both scene view and game view. Is there any particular adjustments I have to make to depth/z? I made some adjustments it doesn't seem to work.

Check the FAQ. It's explained pretty thoroughly. Different atlases or panels = adjust Z.
