Wow, I just watched the Unity 4.x demo. It is still VERY VERY rough. I just wanted to say thank you to the team that makes and works on NGUI. Please continue to work on NGUI and making it better all of the time.
Thank you!

I was thinking the exact same thing. It was actually uncomfortable to watch the demo videos.

Yes. I agree. Please continue to work on NGUI. Not like a few developers, which are stop development, because waiting on U4 + GUI editor release. Unity4 GUI video preview is very good for you to inspiration ;)

I have quite a few new features in mind for NGUI coming this october when I'm not this stupidly busy (trying to make it with the IGF competition deadline in october :/ ). Rest be assured, NGUI will continue to be worked on and expanded, although October changes will focus on usability and enhancements that will help with large projects (and big atlases).
I say "october" tentatively btw. I have a feeling it will happen sooner than that, but we'll see.

Maybe inspiration on what NOT to do. The only thing that looks semi-decent was the layout grid snapping/sizing. The code interface seemed archaic, and the timeline animation system did not seem like a good way to handle animating these elements.
Thanks for the call of support ArenMook! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
