I updated my game yesterday adding some big images to my atlas, so the atlas size changed and grew up considerably. Today I got reports saying everything is blurry (everyone saw everything right up to this update, so it can't be the lack of shader support)
1.- Everything was correct before adding these images to the atlas
2.- They have shader support
3.- The quality of the build is forced to Fantastic (http://i49.tinypic.com/rgzbdg.png)
Is it possible that old GPUs autoscale or decreases the texture quality?

this is an example of one user, previously everything was fine, after adding these images to the atlas this is the result
edit : atlas size right now is 2048x4096, this is quite weird because I have other atlas for main game things like grounds or objects and the size is 4096x4096. No one complained about blurry grounds or objects, they complain only about NGUI-related things (these other atlases are done by other plugin)

Mobile platforms like square textures. 2048x4096, if compressed, will be forced to 4096x4096, and possibly scaled down to 2048x2048 afterwards (as most mobile devices can't go up to 4096x4096). Both of these will degrade your quality.
I suggest you keep large images outside the atlas. Use UITexture to display them as-is.

Per chance they could be mipmapped for some reason.
