Title: Free version for Win8

Hi,

any chance free version will be updated any time soon? We have a rally game for windows store (non unity) which we'd like to port to Unity Win8 incrementally. This means replacing XAML based screens to unity based screens step by step, this way increasing user experience in critical places first.

We'd like to test NGUI and use free version to build proof of concept, but unfortunately the current free version does not compile for Win8.

It's unlikely that it will be updated anytime soon. It was meant as a preview back in the day, not as a fully featured product. Full version will support everything, but free likely won't. As I recall it doesn't support iOS/Android properly either.

Fair enough, page wrote that it is updated less frequently, so I thought maybe it will eventually be updated. If now the full version is distributed as source code (as I've read in another thread), this totally makes sense.

We are all just too spoiled with the whole "try before buy" philosophy ;)
