Title: How would you solve this problem?
Post by: Blooshamoo on January 17, 2014, 06:43:47 AM
I'm still getting to grips with NGUI so apologies if this is an obvious question or covered somewhere in the documentation that I've missed. I have 2 semi-transparent sprites and would like 1 to "override" the other. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for that Ernest. That's the obvious solution but I'd still prefer a dynamic solution so I can have the portrait window (the circle) tween into view when something is selected.

Found a solution. For denizens of the future, I used the texture mask shader from this thread : http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/28110-Masking-off-certian-portions
