Sadly, I am getting these compiler errors right after buying, downloading and importing a fresh install of NGUI from the asset store.

I tried to open the tutorial and example scenes, but it will not allow me to to run or test anything until I clear up these compiler issues. Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing your project has a global class called "Direction", which conflicts with NGUI's class called Direction which resides in the ActiveAnimation namespace.
Either that, or you're using some mecanim asset that declares it, polluting the global namespace. I remember a thread on this not long ago.

Bingo! That was it. Thanks a lot! :)
The conflict was because of another kit that I had imported into the project before hand. Specifically this one (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/14803). (Ultimate Match-3 Starter Kit)
Nice kit, but it's kinda new so I can see why that happened.
Works like a charm now!
