Please don't do that, I don't have a twitter account and I don't want a twitter account.  Or at least please don't stop posting on your own forum.

A more sceptical me would think this were a move to grab twitter followers so you can promote/generate interest in other games you're working on?

Then you should consider changing the post - it definitely implies you won't be posting there any more.
I was about to make a "how do I get notifications from a twitter account?" topic.
