Resizing specific buttons when screen too small
« on: July 21, 2014, 10:21:11 AM »
Hello! I love NGUI, it is simple to use, what can I say :)

Now, one problem occured, I hit the wall.

It's all fine and dandy, but I just want to make specific play buttons to be bigger when screen is small.. Also I use anchors, if this is important :)

UI is based on Nexus 7's resolution: 1280x800

But when I run the same game in 480x320 device, it's ok just play control buttons are really small, so small that I can't even hit them without special surgeon procedure..

One solution is to scale that anchor where buttons are!

But I want to ask here, is this even viable option?

Assuming your UIRoot is set to Fixed Size, the size of your UI will remain the same proportionally to the height of the screen. If it's Pixel Perfect, then it will use the size in pixels, so a 300x200 button will be small on 1280x800, but it will appear big on 480x320. If neither of these gives you desired results, leave it as Fixed Size and adjust the Manual Height yourself.
