Hi, I am having problems with the atlas maker.  There altas maker is making texture at 4096 even though the 4096 option was never checked.  This is a new atlas.  I asked a colleague and he said that it should popup a warning when it does that?  I never got that warning.

Does it mean that there are 2 x 2048 textures and I don't have to worry about it?

Yeah there should be a warning. Although if you exceed 2k by 2k atlas, you really should reconsider what it is you're putting in there. Take advantage of 9-slicing on sprites and consider moving sprites larger than 256x256 outside of the atlas, leaving them as plain textures. Also note that Unity's packer is terrible at packing long or narrow sprites. So something like 1000x20 will waste a lot of space.

It ought to have not allowed you to make the atlas. You have indeed made an atlas with a texture of 4096x4096. This is generally sketchy, because not all platforms allow this and it will just plain not work on them.
