Procedural texture generation is a pretty good idea. Saves people from using Photoshop for UI designs and/or prototypes!

Yea,
I see it as a "one stop shop" for the small indie that either can't afford a graphic artist or is happy with a simple interface, I've tried to keep it high quality and will be adding several additional effects in the next update as I'd like it to be able to create as-far-as-possible GUIs for end use.
There will always be those, however, that require an artist to step in and I've successfully used this tool myself to provide correctly sized prototypes to the artists we use in-house after being able to switch quickly between multiple themes or ideas on the fly.
It was simply too useful to us not to share.
