Title: Very low performance on unity5 editor window

hi
I have project written in unity4 with
latest ngui.
I was happy with the project and
now i 've upgraded unity4 to unity5(latest 5.1.2)

but when i have a ngui ui in my scene,
Editing widgets in scene window is very laggy. (Not running time but editing time)

Stats in game view window while editing   shows 2-8 fps.
Due to its low performance,
Its very difficult even to resize or move the widgets.

When i disable ngui ui root, the editor gets back to normal
like 300-600fps.

Is there any extra steps that i missed when migrating
old project to unity5?

Can't say I've heard of anyone else having this issue... what's your videocard? Does an earlier version of Unity 5 work better?
