Title: What is the Best Server/Hosting Server for TNet?
Post by: Maserat on June 13, 2013, 10:52:38 AM
Hey All,

So what do you all use for TNet? What is the best to use? Windows/Linux, VPS, Dedicated Servers, etc.

Are their any pros or cons to what you all use?

What does the great ArenMook use?

Thanks!!!

TNet is going to be most efficient on a windows-based server as IO Completion ports are supported by windows but not by other platforms in Mono. I run a windows Amazon EC2 instance myself. Another benefit is the ability to just remote desktop into it and work in a familiar environment.

Thanks for the reply. Do you use just one EC2 or multiple instances?

Just one. It's free after all.

Command-line. TNServer.exe, included with the package.
