Cannot press the UISprite at lower depths
« on: June 22, 2014, 01:41:26 AM »
Hello all,

I have a problem with "depths" when using NGUI (3.6.4). I have the list as below
UIRoot
   Camera
        PlaceHolder
            Item_1
            Item_2
   Camera_HUD
        HUD_sprite

Item_1 has the depth value 10
Item_2 has the depth value 11

Item_1 and Item_2 has transparent area, and I can only click to Item_2. It's impossible to click the Item_1 at lower depth.

But if I set the depth of both items to same value, ex: Item_1 and Item_2 have same depth, so I can click through the Item_1 as well. Because I need to manage the depths for individual items, I cannot set their depth values to the same.

I am new to NGUI and Unity too, so I hope to get the support from this forum.

Best Regards

Nicki

Try to set Debug on your UI camera, then it will write out in the top what you're actually hitting, then you can see if you're hitting a different widget.
