porting old apps to windows phone
« on: July 27, 2015, 07:34:38 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to port some old apps to windows phone and ran into some ngui issues.
I updated to the latest version, but theres too many changes in names & variables that I get many many errors.
So the easiest way for me would to be to stick to the old version.

using ngui 2.3.6

the problem:
UIInput       - doesnt show any keyboard input when I click on it.
UIPopupList - doesnt show a drop down when I click on it.

Could you please help me with this, as said updating doesn't seem to be a solution due to the many changes made.
EDIT: SORRY! i see i posted it 3 times, due to a bad internet connection   ::)

I'm sorry, but NGUI 2 hasn't been supported in years now... Even if I wanted to delve back into such old code, there are years worth of changes in both NGUI and Unity.

ah crap.
But its just two things that dont work, all other buttons work, just the input & popup list that wont show.
Isn't there some easy fix for this on windows?
Can you at least point me in some direction to fix this.

Updating to the latest ngui breaks the entire app, so thats not an option.

Like I said, I'm sorry there are just too many changes for me to even venture a guess, even if I did remember such old code... which I do not.

NGUI 2 has been free/unsupported for like two years now.
