Mac App Store availability?

Will the Mac version ever be available via the Apple App Store or will it remain Desura only?
I haven't yet set up any purchases through Desura but of course already have an App Store account set up. Was hoping to keep things consolidated. But I find myself playing the free version so much I'd like to get the full version and wanted to know my options

Desura... is that still a thing? I don't think I've ever received a payment from them for anything. I forgot Starlink was ever there. I have no future plans for Starlink, it's an old game nowadays.
