TNet3 / Ooti / General Multiplayer
« on: May 07, 2017, 07:20:52 AM »
Hi everyone :)

I need some - be honest.. a lot of - help with Tnet  :-\
I try to make a FPS from Scratch using the ooti packages and TNet3.
at this point i am able to get ooti to work without TNet3. I can run, walk, swim etc. All fine.
My Problem ist the generel implementation of TNet3 at this point. I can connect to a Server (running remotly).
but when i open a second session and connect, it gets wierd.

both Clients are connected. Both Player show up in the Scene but there is no way for me to control only my Player.
Both Players are moving if i press a Button.

Scripts i am using at this point:

- autojoin
- autosync

i read the posts on the Assetstore Forum where "Stan B" was able to merge TNet3 and ooti to be working with each other but the download-links are down.
could please anyone help me to get it working so that i am able to walk with 3-4 Players through a scene using ooti?

king regards

If you're using autosync, which syncs the transform directly, then why not just delete the character controller on remote players?
Real solution is to wrap everything in a tno.isMine conditional, though. Check out the tutorials here:
