NGUI 2.7 and Unity 2017 no menu bar

Hi all,  I have downloaded NGUI 2.7 an Unity 2017 an I can t see the NGUI menu option at the top of the screen, can someone tell me why?

Check the Console window for errors.

There is no error in the console regarding this,  I have installed everything correctly the menu at the top is just not showing up

Seeing as NGUI 2 was deprecated years ago, and hasn't been supported just as long, I doubt anyone else is using it with the latest Unity.
