Unity 3.5.6 Compatibility for NGUI 2.6.1e & how to get earlier versions!

Hola ArenMook! 
I am attempting to upgrade my version of NGUI and, sadly, the Unity Asset Store says that the latest, NGUI 2.6.1e, requires Unity 3.5.7!  I am working in Unity 3.5.6. 
I read another post from last year where you said that NGUI was going to support Unity 3.5.x for a while.
I'm assuming it does not actually require 3.5.7 but the Asset Store thinks it does?

1) Is it possible to get earlier version of NGUI somewhere?  Where?
2) What is the latest version of NGUI that is compatible with Unity 3.5.6?
3) If 2.6.1e is actually compatible with Unity 3.5.6, how do I get around the restriction on the Asset Store?

As long as NGUI is supported, it will always have support for the latest version of Unity. Right now this means 3.5.7 and 4.1.2. You can use NGUI with 3.5.6, but you will need to download it from the Asset Store using 3.5.7.
