Standard widgets options?
« on: May 05, 2013, 12:13:13 PM »
I'm a bit surprised to see that there's not a package of standard widgets out there - I get the feeling that it's because I'm missing something, so please help me out here.

I'm thinking of things such as content boxes with scrollers and input fields that only take numeric data. Seems pretty standard, yet I see no assets for these basic functionalists in the asset store. I cannot imagine that I'm the first ever to need those, hence I ask before rolling out my own code.

You can make standard widgets through the widget tool, and you can make input fields numeric-only by attaching UIInputValidator to them and choosing "Integer" for the logic.

Thanks.

What about content scroller views? For instance for a server list window.

I'm aware that I could hardcode it, but what are the alternatives?
