Can't get past the "Gateway: None Found"
« on: August 09, 2013, 09:06:32 PM »
I'm trying the tutorial here: http://www.tasharen.com/?page_id=4537

I'm trying to start up a server with TNServer.exe

I'm getting to this point:

I've tried port forwarding my router. I feel like I'm doing this incorrectly, however.

The only other thing I found that might be a problem is that my router might not support uPnP, but I believe it does.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Typos.

If it says "none found" it means your gateway doesn't respond to UPnP broadcasts. It likely handles them differently. It's not a big issue, just means TNet is unable to automatically open up the port for you.

Your port forwarding seems to be set up correctly.

Thanks. You're correct, I continued the tutorial and it seems to work like it should.

For the port forwarding, is the IP address correct? I only put .4 because that's what the internal IP address says.

Yup. That's what it needs.

Thanks, you the man!

I have a good feeling I made a good investment in TNet.
