Where's the sliced editing tools?
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:11:32 AM »
Hello

I am using NGUI 2.6.5b, however I couldn't find the slice editing tools, in refer to few youtube video, the slice editing tools should be with atlas prefab. However, from my panel it is showing a preview panel then a slice editing panel.

Can show me where the slice panel gone?

Thanks

When you look at the inspector tab for the sprite, after you have set it's type to sliced, there will be an edit button in the inspector
Click on that to edit the sliced gauges.
Please be aware that if you change the slice for SpriteA, anything that uses SpriteA as a slice will have the same edits added to it

Thanks for reply. I change the sprite type to sliced, but didn't find the edit button though.

I click the edit button beside the sprite at UISprite section, but there's no sliced editor. Confused.  :'(

In your first post you have a screen shot with the edit functions open, not sure what you looking for then?

It's on the atlas. You can select sprites in the inspector and set borders.

Sorry. I thought the slice grid can be drag and drop, after playing with the borders it is working now.

Thank you
