Updates frequency world record!
« on: March 03, 2014, 07:30:46 AM »
hello guys...

working in programming world since 1990, never seen a similar frequency of updates...  but slightly complicated to follow, starting a 2 months project you can update NGUI 30/ 40 times...
maybe a good way to sell... ;)

Some people complain. I've actually had a Chinese pirate post 1/5 star review on the Asset Store twice because he's forced to update his mirrored copy so frequently. The asshole is reselling it in China on his website, and complaints about the frequency of updates. The nerve of some people...

To me, I'd rather have frequent bug fixes and updates than work with bugged software for months. I generally release updates on Friday night or the weekend because weekend users = hobbyists, more forgiving of release issues. This also lets me fix the problems over the weekend before the influx of commercial users start updating their versions.

Just remember -- you don't have to update if you aren't running into issues.

And if you think Asset Store updates are frequent... don't get Pro. I push updates to the Pro repository several times per day. :)
