Nothing in prefeb toolbar
« on: May 22, 2014, 03:42:53 PM »
I bought and installed 3.6 today and started a new project to test it with.

I was watching some of the tutorial videos and setting my screen up the same and when I opened the Prefab Tool bar there were a lot of icons looking like a square. I dragged one into my scene and it created the control okay.  Now that I have started up  on a project 2 things
1. The prefab toolbar will no longer open
2. When open it now shows no prefabs in it

The prefab toolbar gets populated from prefabs named "Control -". There are example controls located in the Examples folder. If you don't import the examples folder, there will be no starting controls to work with. It's explained in the tutorial video.

The preview icons require Unity Pro. I've added pre-generated preview icons to Unity Free, so you will find them in the next update. But again -- the Examples folder is required for them to be loaded.

Yes - I had imported everything but I did not know that it required the PRO version for them to show.

Thank You
