Professionally (and officially) I am a programmer &#8212; before Tasharen I was a Lead Programmer at Gameloft, and before that I was a Lead Game Developer at Ganz Interactive. I also spent a year in Unity Technologies as a Senior Software Developer while still working at Tasharen (and yes, two jobs was a bit rough!)<\/p>\n<p>In addition to me being the author of NGUI, TNet, <a href=\"http:\/\/starlink.tasharen.com\/\">Starlink<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tasharen.com\/windward\/\">Windward<\/a>, I&#8217;ve developed <a title=\"R5 Game Engine\" href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/r5ge\/\" target=\"_blank\">my own C++ game engine<\/a> from scratch almost a decade\u00a0ago while waiting for tech improvements of Unity 3. Efficient skeletal animation, post processing effects, HDR, deferred rendering, soft shadows, SSAO &#8212; you name it and chances are I&#8217;ve either done it or at least know how to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Unofficially I&#8217;m also a hack-ish artist &#8212; I am very comfortable working with 3ds Max and Photoshop. I would say I know enough to be able to understand artists and make some (very crappy) art of my own.
