Atlas Size Limits and Functionality
« on: March 23, 2014, 05:34:04 PM »
Is there a way to tell if an Atlas is reaching its limit as far as content?  When I add something, that apparently puts it over the max for content, it goes all haywire and the content gets jumbled and mixed together.  Is there a way to reverse this process, because now all of the items are messed up.

Thanks

NGUI should prevent you from messing up your atlas texture, but certain platforms / settings restrict max texture size. For example targeting ARMv6 / GLES 1.1 devices will cap the imported texture size at 1024. The actual atlas may be larger, like 2048, but Unity will import the texture capped as 1024, thus messing up everything you see. Forcing the texture import to be of larger dimensions fixed everything.
