[FIXED] Stuck on step 3 of the NGUI setup :( HELP

1.Create a brand-new scene.
2.Select and delete the Main Camera.
3.Open the NGUI menu and select Create a New UI — this will open up the UI Creation Wizard.

I don't have an NGUI entry in the menu bar. is that a unity PRO thing? I'm using NGUI standard.

Apologies if this is obvious, but setup guides seem to be a bit thin on the ground -and searching for NGUI and setup or menu brings a billion hits.

I had an issue where NGUI was not in the menu bar, and it was because I had a compilation error. When I imported the NGUI package, there was a conflict between one of my classes and one of NGUI classes, they had the same name and the compiler could not resolve it.

Can you check your console output to see if there are any errors?  Also, if you found a billion hits, did you also find a billion answers?

Menu bars are only shown when it compiles. Check your console and see what's not compiling.

Yup. was totally not compiling. Turns out Norton was quarantining mono.exe. I only told me about it on the 3rd install though.
