Atlas looks terribly bad after add/update
« on: April 20, 2015, 03:45:45 PM »
As the title says, the UI in the atlas look very bad after I add some texture in it. What should I do? I tried:restart unity, restart mac, delete all the old textures in atlas and add them back again. But it still didn't turn good. Need some help!

"looks very bad" doesn't explain anything. Please post a picture.

Check that the atlas doesn't have mipmapping on. Unity5 has been a little funky with that.

Well, this one looks even worse. I didn't have mipmap in the atlas.

You clearly either have compression turned on, or your quality settings are set to Fastest which automatically degrade texture quality. UI atlas texture should not be compressed. It should be truecolor.
