NGUI 2.2.6c & Unity 3.x - Backwards Compatibilty?

Apologies in advance if you've already answered these questions.

Is NGUI 2.2.6c 100% backwards-compatible with Unity 3.x?  If not, is there a comprehensive list of the issues?

You can get NGUI to run on an earlier version such as 3.5.4, but you will need work on your part replacing some #ifdefs. You won't be able to run it on a version prior to 3.4.2 at all.

There is really no reason not to upgrade Unity. It's not like you have to pay for it -- it's not 4.0.
