NGUI 3 Support / Applying NGUI inventory example
« on: September 04, 2014, 09:47:40 PM »
I know the developer didn't make the Example X scene for people to use.. But I am in a desperate situation where I have to utilize it for my project.

I've managed how to add other items such as helmets and weapons on to the orc. But now, I am trying to replace the orc with my own character, which is

giving me some difficulties. Which scrips and settings do I have to change in order to apply the inventory system to my own character not the default orc

NGUI 3 Support / NGUI Inventory system
« on: August 21, 2014, 11:12:11 PM »
Hi guys, the Sample inventory system in the ngui file is amazing, and I can't wait to put  it my game. The problem is, I am a newbie at both

scripting and unity engine.. so I am having a hard time. I've used playmaker with NGUI, but this time i plan on utilizing the NGUI example just as the  example

scene. I kinda understand most of the UI and displays, but one thing is that, I've read the scripts and they were very kind and neat, However I've noticed the script Inv Database, and it's role in the whole scene seems huge. Can somebody explain to me how this works, and give me some tips on how to add a new item such as a helmet or body armor

Hi guys, I am studying how to make an inventory system based on NGUI. For people with less experience with c# or java I use playmaker often with unity. Just wondering if anyone here is using NGUI with playmaker and if you do please share some ideas on utilizing playmaker for inventory

Misc Archive / Upgrade from NGUI 2 to NGUI 3.XXX
« on: August 18, 2014, 03:29:24 AM »
Hi guys.

I am using NGUI 2 at the moment, and while I was checking out the video tutorials, I've noticed a upgrade package for users upgrading from NGUI 2. So I downloaded the package and all it's scripts got imported right in to my current NGUI folder execpt one,... which is UpgradeWidgets in the editor folder of the upgrade package. other files just naturally fitted in to my ngui folder I already had. Now if I play the project I was working on, there is a compiler error and I am stuck with a bunch of errors. Since I am new to programming I am having problem what the actual problem is, so I shall attach the error window at the bottom. Please help me out here.
