UIRoot Maximum Height default to 1536 or more
« on: October 28, 2012, 09:44:27 PM »
Please set the UIRoot Maximum Height default to 1536. Since the resolution of iPad 3 is 2048 x 1536, the UI go wrong if automatic is unchecked. For someone that don't have an actual device to test and get rejected before submitting to Apple ( that is me ).

You can set the height yourself. NGUI is used on many devices with many different target resolutions.

That why set a higher default value for reasonable Maximum Height to cover it all. Do you know my feel that it get rejected by Apple because of this little thing.

That sucks man, but you should test on an ipad3 yourself.

I have mine set to 100000 right now, so I don't run into troubles. Android device with 1600x2560 made my UI go bananas.

Actually, I don't have so many different iOS devices to test on hand. May be off the topic, who know how test unity3d on iOS emulator ?

You can't. Unity doesn't work in the iOS simulator. :/

Just want to add that it's possible to use iOS simulator with unity. In the player settings, set the SDK Version to "iOS Simulator".
