Atlas Maker - can't create new atlas
« on: April 16, 2014, 01:28:08 AM »
I am trying to create a new atlas in NGUI and the interface I am seeing doesn't look like this in the tutorial videos I am trying to follow. There appears to be no "create" button on my interface. Is there a problem or am I just missing something? Attached is a screenshot of what my atlas maker looks like. I managed to make a "new" atlas by duplicating the entire atlas folder of the sci fi atlas and then manually editing all the various pieces (atlas, material, font, etc). This is not ideal!

I am using the most recent NGUI (3.5.7) and the most recent Unity (4.3.4f1).

[edit] I am on OSX (Mavericks) [/edit]

There is no Create button because you are modifying an existing atlas. Choose nothing for the atlas, and then you will be able to create a new one. Click the circle directly to the left of the "Edit" button, then choose "none".

Wow, thank you so much... that was completely unintuitive! A "new" selection on the atlas selector would make this so much more straight forward.

Agreed. I'll add a "New' button.

Edit: In fact it's actually already there, but commented out. Wonder why I commented it out...

Edit #2: I guess it was a mistake in one of the commits.
