Level Scroll
« on: July 12, 2014, 03:41:19 PM »
Hello, my name is Mark, and I'm designer from AIFactor project. It's mobile action puzzle game.
Now we're trying to create an interface of our future game. Our game contains 3 episodes, with 13 level within in each.
The problem that we faced regard to scrolling levels in menu. In standard options NGUI allow to scroll level horizontally or vertically, but we want that the path of their movement would be curve. It's first thing. I forget to say, that is must be realizied by fingers.
The second thing, which makes us think hard, it's hover over selected level. We won't sure how it should be technically realized, but the idea was, that the player taps the level ( the hover shows up)  and click at start session button. The main question, how this hovers over selected level should move. Can it move with the buttons (if so, how realize it correctly), or it must be locked in one position in one place.

You will want to have each item offset itself horizontally based on the vertical position. You can do that just by writing a simple script attached to your scroll view's items.

The second question seems more like a design question, and I'm not the right person to ask design questions. :P
