Hey everyone I have been posting a little bit in the support forum this month as I learn Unity and NGUI because I have been working on a game for the Something Awful Game Dev Challenge. It's a one-month game dev challenge held annually, and my game was made almost entirely using NGUI. I was the only programmer on the game, but I did have a little help with some sound, music, and art.
The theme this year was "public access television", which if you're not sure what that means, think basically Youtube before the Internet. Public Access TV is provided in the US by cable companies for the general public to have a way to make television shows to reach their local communities, and they are typically low budget and boring or just very weird.
My game is about feminism and men's rights, and I know those are touchy topics so I hope nobody gets too upset and can just enjoy the game for its gameplay and humor.
The gameplay itself is card-based. It is inspired by physical deckbuilding games such as Dominion and Thunderstone.
