Clipping area won't change size!
« on: October 22, 2012, 04:18:44 AM »
I have my UIRoot set to a manual height, sometimes its slightly adjusted through a script but is always changed through the UIRoot and like I said its only changed every so slightly but my clipping view of scroll lists dont resize with the camera, even if i take out the script that im using so the camera is always at a fixed height and never changes the clipping view doesnt seem to keep its fixed height and is different on each iOS device. Any input would be greatly appreciated as its been driving me crazy for a few days now.

Thanks in advance.

What does clipping have to do with UIRoot? Why would clipping size change if you don't change it yourself?

okay now I'm confused, let me explain, my manual height on UI root is 480, this now doesn't change at all and now i thought the camera would stay the same whatever the screen resolution?! ipad1 + 2 and iPhone 5 is fine but iPhone 4 and ipad3 is incorrect? Is my logic of UIRoot not correct?

Yes, UIRoot manual height of 480 means your UI will always be treated as if it has a height of 480. Your clipping won't change -- it will be whatever you set it as (assuming it's parented to UIRoot somewhere). If you set clipping rect to be 300x200, that's exactly what it will be, relative to the fixed height you specified.
