iOS 7 Transparency and etc
« on: September 30, 2013, 03:39:48 PM »
iOS 7 has great new effects. Eg. now Facebook's top semi-transparent but not a straight transparent.
When will NGUI have iOS 7 shaders?  ???

Qué? Facebook popups aren't handled bu Unity, they're handled by native code.

Doing something like what facebook does isn't too crazy hard, but you'd have to make your own shader for it.

You'd need to write those shaders on your own. There isn't a reason why NGUI couldn't support your own custom shaders for doing a blur alpha blend like iOS does currently. At the expense of draw calls naturally.
