Hi, in the changelog, the following is listed

3.4.0 (previously 3.0.9 f1)
- NEW: Community contribution: bold, italic, underline, strike-through and subscript support for text (Rudy Pangestu).

How do i access these functions. Is it available for labels ? I've been trying to find the underline option for labels but could not manage to find it.

Thank you !

PS: Could i check, is it possible to link tweens to the on hover function for buttons ? Currently button only provide color tweening on hover. Is it possible to play a a different tween such as change the scale of the button on hover ?

You can activate tweens using hover, sure. UIPlayTween script has all kinds of trigger conditions.
