How to open ports for Amazon EC2 service?
« on: April 01, 2014, 04:51:47 PM »
I've tried searching the forums, but nothing has helped. I run the TNetServer.exe on the amazon instance, and I keep getting the Gateway Not found message.

I've opened all the ports in the Management Console, and have the server instance tied to the security group.

All TCP 0 - 65535
All UDP 0 - 65535

Outbound it says all traffic with all port ranges.

I disabled the windows firewall inside the instance. Yet I keep getting the Gateway not Found message.

What else do I need to do?

Ah, nevermind. Just tried to connect to it anyways and it worked. What does the Gateway: None Found mean then?

It means the UPnP functionality doesn't work, so TNet isn't able to open the port on the router automatically.
