Not directly, as in using UIlabel to render a textmesh pro label - but it doesn't outright breaks, as far as I know. It should function as the same way a 3d model in the gui would; so you can layer it with directly setting renderqueue. I imagine it can be a hassle though, but I haven't personally used textmesh pro.
