Unable to color tint imported fonts from bmGlyph
« on: December 11, 2012, 07:27:17 PM »
I am having an issue with the fonts I generated using bmGlyph. I exported the fonts using a white color but when I try to change the tint color in Unity, it does not change. I have tried changing the shader option of the material to be "Unlit/Transparent Colored (packed)" but that converts the fonts to display as boxes. I am using a MAC and can't use BMFont. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Make sure to use "Unlit/Transparent Colored" shader.

Make sure to use "Unlit/Transparent Colored" shader.

i've got two gameObject prefabs for fonts, and i do not see anywhere that i can pick the shader...i look on the label that is using the font...i dont see anywhere that i can pick the shader...

can you elaborate on "make sure to use 'Unlit/Transparent Colored' shader?"

edit: its the shader on the atlas that contains the font...

If the font is using the atlas, then yes it's specified on the atlas.
