Missing transparency in 3.0.6 f6 & f7??
« on: December 06, 2013, 11:54:47 AM »
Hi,
i just updated my atlas with an updated version of a transparent icon (PSD) and it stopped being transparent (it was before).
I re exported the icon as PNG and tried again with same results.
I updated to 3.0.6f7 with no difference.
If i add the same icon (PSD or PNG) as unity GUITexture it shows transparent.
All the other icons (not modified) are transparent and ok.
(I can't attach any psd file to this post :()
Any tips?

Uncheck PMA Shader on the atlas maker before adding the sprite to it.

I did it, and also saw this happening to other people. I never checked that in the first place, it's too weird and affecting only the sprites i add or update

I needed to check the PMA Shader checkbox. Not uncheck it (which is the default)

This was driving me nuts until I read this thread. I recently upgraded to 3.0.6 f7.

I wasn't having this issue before.

PMA shader option was removed in 3.0.7 so you won't trip over it again. You can now only set it at the initial creation of the atlas. After that it's based on the chosen shader.
