Button Cooldown effect in Windward
« on: July 31, 2012, 01:45:07 AM »
Hi,

i just testet out Windward and saw that you created WoW style action buttons that have a cooldown effect. That is
something i want to do in my game, but haven't had the time yet to figure out how to do it. Aren, would it be possible
to release a new example of that effect ? Or create a small tutorial on how to do it ? I would even pay a couple of bucks for a
working example or tutorial pack that shows how to do it. Or can you explain the steps on how to do it in more detail ?
I really need to create those kind of buttons, so any help or example would be really great.

thanks
Cheers
Mike

It's really simple. Create one UISprite. Give it a grey tint. Now create a UIFilledSprite using the same sprite texture, right on top of the original. Set it to radial 360. That's it, really. Drag the filled sprite's slider to see it change.
