Dragging not working correctly on Scroll View (Secondary Camera) on iOS

If you take Tutorial #8 (http://www.tasharen.com/?page_id=658) and deploy it to an iPhone, dragging your finger across the screen to scroll the view is often mistaken as a tap. Is there a trick to get around this? Thanks
