Formatting InputBox

Is possible to add on next update a option to add format for Input box?

This is fine to restrict data insertion on forms.

For example:

Numbers:  Only numeric Characters
Date:  xx/yy/zz
IP: xxx.yyy.zzz

etc,etc,etc.

Or if exist a easy way to do it please tell me about.
