Upgrade from free to Pro
« on: October 01, 2013, 11:38:54 AM »
Hi,

I just purchased the pro version and need to integrate it into my application. When I follow the instructions it blows out the scripts I'm using and breaks the app. It's likely because the free version is X months behind. I need to show this today and pretty much all I need at this point is the watermark removed. Are there specific components that I need to replace to remove the watermark without blowing out all the other scripts?

Thanks,
Tom

There's no real easy way. You're gonna have to fix all the issues with dependencies on old NGUI code yourself, or get an old version of NGUI so it's easy to switch.

The free version is so far behind (2.5.0?) that the code base is significantly different now.

Thanks for the info. Actually I ended up updating to 2.7 then removing the dll files and it worked great!

Free version is 2.0.7, and NGUI 2.7.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0.7.
