I just pulled down the free version of NGUi today and started going through the tutorial video. The video has me create a button and a slider and that is where things start going strange.
I'll start with the slider. I'm working in 2D. When I slide the slider the slider moves faster to the left then my mouse. When the slider reaches the 0-position, the mouse is several cm to the right of the slider bar. If I try to click on the slider bar I have to position it to the right by this amount. Moving the slider back to the far right and the mouse and slider finish properly relative to each other.
I have found some mention of the UIRoot and using 'fixed size' while I've 'played' around with setting the 'manual Height' I simply don't understand what setting the 'manual height' has to do this situation. ( wow!, deja vu moment, and with that deja vu moment I have to say, PLEASE, if I'm opening up a can of worms please forgive me as I don't to flame an old fire.

)
Any suggestions at reading material or such would be most appreciated. Thank you.
