What is the difference between using TNet and SmartfoxServer?
« on: September 12, 2014, 07:33:30 AM »
Think multiplayer, 1st/3rd person shooter game. Up to 32 players per map.

#1) One server to show/manage the game maps people can join. Desktop Unity game viewer connects to that map server first.
#2) Flexibility to launch multiple games on same server.

Ignoring licensing costs, which one would be better suited? TNet or SmartfoxServer.

Will be using Unity/C#, back end Linux.

Thanks!

Yes, TNet can do all that. I'm not familiar with Smartfox to do any kind of a comparison however.
