UITween Choppy

I have a achievement level that I have a Quest Log style setup and it works great on the webplayer and Editor but it is very choppy on Android. I am only using the scale tween on the achievements. I have tested on a HTC Incredible and a Motorola Droid 2 both older phones with 2.3+ OS. I am looking for a faster option or work arround to allow this to work. I have 20 children in the tween, it is 1 second long but want this kind of setup without the choppy laggy movement. Any ideas? Attached is a picture of how my level is setup. The background is just a plane with a unlit rendered texture so that is not much memory there.

Is that an outline around all your labels I see? The way outline is done is by drawing the font 5 times. You really don't want that on android devices. I also suggest modifying the shader to remove alpha blending (search the forums for "blend srcalpha"). Alpha blending is slow on mobiles.

Thank you very much!!! I did not realize how bad that outline was. It looks great though. Lowered my verts by more than half by making the outline in BM Font. My tweens are still choppy, when a tween runs my Main Thread goes up to 5 ish and renderer doubles, is this a normal thing? Even on my small tweens, I have a achievement popout that tweens from side of screen when a achievement is met and it has only 3 widgets but its choppy also. I will keep messing with it thanks for the great support though!!

If you move something within a panel, it forced the entire panel's geometry to be rebuilt, so it's generally much, much better to move the panel itself if possible, or to at least separate frequently moving objects into a panel of their own.
