Quality Loss Texture vs Atlas Sprite

Hi,

I'm running into an issue where my atlas is too large and thus causing display issues on mobile devices. The big chunk of my texture space is my backgrounds which are 2048x1536. I thought I could take these out of the atlas and simply use the SimpleTexture widget. However, I'm noticing a really large degredation in quality between the Sprites in the atlas and the SimpleTexture. Any thoughts on what could be causing the issue.

I tried uping the texture max size and format, but the results were a very minimal improvement.

The texture is likely being resized to power of two. Look at the texture asset and change it to advanced, turn Non power of two to Off and disable mip maps. Then it should look fine.
