Font Maker - Texture type & Compression format?
« on: April 18, 2014, 01:18:05 AM »
Hi there,

I scan through your tutorials, I remember you mention Font texture type should be GUI, and set Format-compression to Truecolor. But, when I use Font Maker to create a Bitmap font, Font Maker create a font-texture with Texture type & Compressed. Should I change it or leave it as it is by default? What best options for me, I want to use it for iOS?
Thanks.

For crisp results, truecolor always works best. Compressed texture is just the default Unity import setting for new textures.
